Special Edition: The Best of DNA Monthly Volumes I-III: It is my pleasure as editor of this ezine to offer readers a special retrospective edition here at the end of our third year. Feedback from the more than 2,000 regular readers of DNA Monthly has been enthusiastic far beyond my modest expectations when initiating this project. Repeatedly, I've felt my finger to be on the pulse of a global zeitgeist of transformation operating in and through the genetic level of consciousness.

A consistent theme of feedback has been that a more expanded view of science and healing is not only welcome at this time; it is critically needed as we evolve out of a monolithic version of reality into the higher-paradigm understanding that there is no such thing as science--there are ultimately only sciences, any of which can have their strengths and weaknesses based on the strengths and weaknesses of those of who, consciously or not, create them. Now more than ever, it is incumbent upon on us as a species to create our science(s) of reality consciously.

The following articles are the three most popular pieces, in order, that have appeared through the first three volumes of this ezine based on such factors as direct reader comments and blog and website hits. Enjoy!

Are you aware that a Shift in human consciousness is occurring even as you read these words that employs celestial triggers such as supernovas and Earth's alignment with Galactic Center in the years leading up to 2012 to trigger the evolution of our species? This Shift has been documented in a stimulating multimedia presentation entitled "Preparing for the Shift," by Barry and Janae Weinhold, Ph.D.s. Over decades devoted to the study of consciousness and evolution, the Weinholds, both trained psychologists, have gathered overwhelming evidence that humanity is in the middle of a long-awaited Shift in consciousness predicted in hundreds of indigenous cultures worldwide.

Today this Shift is visible nearly every time you open a newspaper or turn on the TV. It can be seen in the breakdown of many old structures such as those that underpin governments, churches and corporations, as well as in families and individuals. It is also evident in the ecological breakdown of numerous Earth systems, a widespread perception time is accelerating, drastic changes in weather patterns, more people feeling overwhelmed by modern life's complexity, and increased polarization between groups, religions, and regions.

Fortunately, along with signs of breakdown, the Weinholds emphasize there is also considerable evidence of breakthrough: the appearance of stunningly gifted children in unprecedented numbers, the emergence of innovative and integrated healing modalities, people becoming less "religious" and more "spiritual," and the dawning of new communities and social structures based on servant leadership and other partnership principles.

The significance of the winter solstice on December 21, 2012, according to the Mayan, Aztec, Incan and Hopi traditions, is that this date marks the close of several cycles of time. The first is the end of the 26,000-year Mayan calendar, also called a "precession" and the Annus Magnus ("Great Year"), considered by many a gestational or birth cycle for Earth. Mayan timekeepers believe that human evolution unfolds as a result of such precisely calibrated master cycles of time. They predict that Earth and humanity are about to be birthed into a new reality based on unity predicated on a dramatic advance in consciousness.

From a Mayan perspective, the Weinholds ask, "What began 26,000 years ago?" Their extensive psychohistorical research indicates this marked the beginning of humanity's psychological individuation. In human terms, becoming "individuated" means moving from being unconsciously united with the Creator or Ground of Being, to choosing to become divided from the Creator and developing separate individual consciousness, to finally returning to the Creator as conscious, aware individuals. Once people fully individuate, it becomes possible for them to make empowered, discerning choices and use intention to co-create reality with Source--or perhaps more accurately, to create reality as Source.

The second cycle of time ending in 2012 highlighted in "Preparing for the Shift" is the close of the Galactic Year. It takes 225 million Earth years for the Milky Way Galaxy to make one complete rotation in the sky, which is believed to be a birth cycle for our galaxy. From a galactic perspective, the Weinholds ask, "What was conceived on Earth 225 million years ago?"

They point out this was when Earth's landmass, Pangaea, began separating into what we now know as the seven continents. This process of planetary individuation not only correlates with continental drift theory; my research indicates there is also an energetic correspondence between Earth's twelve tectonic plates responsible for continental drift and the twelve pairs of cranial nerves in the human brain, which are themselves linked to the biblical Twelve Tribes. Considered together, this evidence suggests that Earth, like humans, has undergone her own "separating out" or individuation. Based on such interconnectedness, it is also reasonable to expect that as human consciousness exponentially increases, Earth will also undergo a significant--and observable--transformation.

Astronomers studying Galactic Center report that it periodically becomes extremely active. During these episodes, it spews out fierce barrages of cosmic energy equal to thousands of supernova explosions. These outbursts are the most energetic phenomenon in the known universe. A growing number of researchers such as Sergey Smelyakov, author of a fascinating paper entitled "The Auric Time Scale and the Mayan Factor," in addition to many indigenous peoples worldwide, theorize that as Galactic Center becomes more energized, it catalyzes human evolution through frequency emissions in the form of higher-dimensional "torsion" waves transmitted to Earth via the sun.

A comprehensive scientific model for the "Energetic Engine of Evolution" has been proposed by David Wilcock, a highly gifted psychic and speculative scientist whose theory of "Evolution as 'Intelligent Design'" deserves summarizing. Citing the work of a vanguard of researchers, Wilcock presents a model that unites many disciplines and provides several critical missing pieces to the evolutionary puzzle. In his own words, this provocative model "suggests that humanity is on the verge of a near-spontaneous metamorphosis into a more highly evolved state of consciousness."

Basing his analysis on the realization, embraced by more and more of today's scientists, that Darwinian evolutionary theory is "extinct," Wilcock observes that the "probabilities that DNA could evolve by 'random mutation' are so minute as to be utterly laughable--akin to the idea that if you have enough monkeys tapping away on typewriters, one of them will eventually produce a complete Shakespearean play." Far surpassing the reach of gradual, incremental evolution, which certainly occurs as environmental adaptation, the fossil record from all over the planet makes it abundantly clear that species regularly evolve in heretofore inexplicable leaps and bounds, skipping what would seem from a Darwinian perspective to be crucial evolutionary phases. At the top of a long list of species whose evolution has baffled science is the human species.

Although for more than a century a "missing link" has been assumed to exist based on largely unchallenged Darwinian presumptions, scientists have never managed to discover it. "When we consider that the size of the brain literally doubled between that of humanity's apparent ancestors and ourselves, with no evidence of a smooth transformation whatsoever," writes Wilcock, "once again we see a spontaneous evolution of the creatures on Earth." One scientist associated with National Geographic, studying the intricate bone carvings dating to 70,000 B.C.E. found at Blombos Cave in South Africa, concluded that behavioral evolution mirrors anatomical development--an important observation meaning, in Wilcock’s words, that "spontaneous evolution is not simply physiological, but consciousness-related as well. When a new bodily form has emerged, consciousness changes appear to occur."

Moreover, as indicated by the Mayan calendar, rather than in fits and starts, such evolutionary fast-forwards of physiology and consciousness happen in organized, predictable cycles. Theorizing a "harmonic relationship" between the 26,000-year Mayan calendar and 26-million-year period between extinctions/evolutionary leaps in the fossil record, Wilcock notes that all Earth species have suddenly evolved, or metamorphosed, every 26 million years, making a strong case for "an outside energetic influence that operates in a regular, cyclic fashion."

To answer the question what outside energetic influence is responsible for these rhythmic evolutionary revolutions, it is necessary to factor in the concept of torsion energy or universal creative consciousness. Some writers, most notably Barbara Hand Clow, have focused attention on something called the Photon Belt or Photon Band, which can be envisioned as a torsion-wave "light lattice" connecting Earth via our sun to Galactic Center that serves as a guiding data communication network for human and planetary evolution.

While some astronomers have scoffed at the notion of a Photon Band, other scientists who grasp the higher-dimensional nature of this network's light understand that it not only exists but plays a critical role in cosmic evolution. Wilcock's research indicates that something very much like a Photon Band most definitely exists as lines of higher-dimensional torsion radiation emanating from Galactic Center. Both Wilcock and Clow envision the Photon Band as tracing figure-eights throughout the spiraling pattern of the Milky Way Galaxy (see figure below). It appears from Dr. Nikolai Kozyrev's research involving aether that such looping "zero point" or torsion energy based on the phi ratio (1.6180339) is, among other things, directly responsible for our cyclical experience of time.

From Book One on the Regenetics Method, Conscious Healing: The Photon Band & Black Road. It takes 225 million Earth years for the Milky Way Galaxy to make one complete rotation through the Photon Band, which is believed to be a birth cycle for our galaxy. The Black Road, a Mesoamerican phrase for a type of wormhole, can be conceptualized as simultaneously an astrophysical and genetic alignment with Galactic Center that engenders a Shift in consciousness.

Recalling the aether theories of Kozyrev, fellow Russian scientist Sergey Smelyakov's research demonstrates that the harmonic vibrations of phi, also referred to as the Golden Mean and Fibonacci sequence, inform the very fabric of space-time. Mathematically, the Photon Band appears to be structured on phi, producing set cosmic intervals the Mayans were aware of when constructing their uncannily accurate calendar. Smelyakov's "The Auric Time Scale and the Mayan Factor" compellingly suggests that Earth connects to Galactic Center via our solar system in a harmonic fashion he calls "Solar-planetary Synchronism," a vibratory relationship based on the Golden Mean.

In an article entitled "The Ultimate Secret of the Mayan Calendar," Wilcock cites Smelyakov's research, writing that it helps explain the end of the Mayan calendar in geometric terms as an "infinitely-converging end point" in which time appears to "collapse." This is because time as we experience it follows the imploding spirals of phi much like a finger tracing the cyclical involutions of a conch shell to its centerpoint. History, then, does not exactly repeat itself; it is more like climbing a spiral staircase.

Torsion energy spiraling as the Photon Band from the creative consciousness at the Core of our universe is Wilcock's "Energetic Engine of Evolution." Because of its curvilinear form, the Photon Band is composed of swaths of lesser and greater density of torsion waves manifesting as higher-dimensional light. As our solar system orbits episodically into galactic regions characterized by greater density of torsion waves (i.e., greater light or consciousness), which it is currently doing, life on our planet, including the living organism that is Earth, is intelligently stimulated to evolve in spectacular ways not only physically but also mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

"By combining the effects of geo-cosmic change with the overall flourishing of humanity in the cultural and spiritual sense," observes Wilcock, "we see that as the cycle continues to exponentially accelerate its energetic rate of vibration into the 2012-2013 'singularity,' we can expect … rapid increases in human awareness." This centripetal cycle leads inexorably to a "discontinuous mega-event where 'time and space collapse.'" Perhaps this transformation of our experience of time and space is the truth behind the disjointed description of the "end of days" in the Book of Revelation.

In humans, evolutionary activation occurs as torsion waves stimulate transposons or "jumping DNA" to rewrite the genetic code--a phenomenon supported by a considerable amount of scientific evidence. Bruce Lipton's research unambiguously affirms that cells possess the ability to reprogram their own DNA, with measurable physical results such as otherwise inexplicable dietary modifications in organisms, when environmentally prompted. Dr. Lipton hypothesizes that such rewriting, which is typically beneficial, accounts for up to ninety-eight percent of evolutionary transformation.

Similarly, in a concise but excellent study entitled "Retrotransposons as Engines of Human Bodily Transformation," biochemist Colm Kelleher addresses the subject of radical genetic adaptation or evolution as a result of what he terms a "transposition burst." "If one were to hypothesize a transmutation of the human body," writes Dr. Kelleher, it

would be necessary to orchestrate a change, cell by cell, involving the simultaneous silencing of hundreds of genes and the activation of a different set of hundreds more. A transposition burst is a plausible mechanism at the DNA/RNA level that could accomplish such a genome wide change. Transposition bursts comprise the concerted movement of multiple mobile DNA elements from different genetic locations to new positions, sometimes on different chromosomes … Human DNA contains an abundance of the necessary genetic structures to accomplish a transposition burst involving hundreds, or even thousands, of genes.

Referencing a particular DNA sequence containing three different transposon families arranged in beadlike formation, Kelleher theorizes that owing to its tripartite configuration, this DNA sequence would be "an effective participant in large scale transposon mediated genetic change that eventually results in transformation of the human body."

Perhaps the most undeniable evidence supporting the concept of a torsion life-wave or Photon Band of universal creative consciousness energetically directing the spontaneous formation and development of Earth species comes from Tim Harwood, who calls attention to one of nature's more miraculous phenomena. After caterpillars form their chrysalis during metamorphosis, it is a little-known but very relevant fact that they completely dissolve into a soup of amino acids before reassembling into butterflies. This soup contains no recognizable cells or DNA as it is currently understood, but when the time is right, the torsion life-wave signals the DNA to recombine and, within a matter of days, cells emerge to create new life-forms.

Wilcock concludes that the human species, somewhat like caterpillars entering metamorphosis, is currently "being programmed by the galactic center to become more advanced while … still here in our bodies." This is made possible because the

DNA molecule is like a programmable piece of hardware … so that if you change the energy wave that moves through it, the jumping DNA will encode it into a completely different form. It is therefore possible that as we move into increasingly "intelligent" zones of energy in the galaxy, the DNA energy patterns for the creatures on the planet are all upgraded, and the mutations occur so rapidly--well within one lifetime--that no "transitional" fossils exist.

Earth's movement through a denser area of the Photon Band directly aligned with Galactic Center began around the time of the so-called Harmonic Convergence in 1987, will enter into a historical astronomical alignment around 2012, and will be complete (from our present linear perspective) by about 2016. Over the course of the past two decades, as Wilcock and the Weinholds point out, major Earth, planetary and solar changes--from unprecedented alterations in planetary atmospheres to drastic surges in volcanic and earthquake activity--have been observed. Arguably of greatest significance from our perspective is that the sun is now moving into alignment with Galactic Center. During this transit the sun's magnetic field has increased over 230% and there have been wildly elevated levels of sunspot activity (as reported by NASA and other space agencies) that have transmitted record-breaking waves of electromagnetic (to say nothing of torsion) energy to Earth and, thus, to us.

It is worth noting we are composed of the same substances found in the heavens, so it really is not so odd that celestial events should profoundly impact us. Harvard professor of astronomy Robert Kirshner has remarked that "supernovas created the elements we take for granted--the oxygen we breathe, the calcium in our bones, and the iron in our blood are products of the stars." Other researchers, observing that most of DNA's amino acids are also found in space, have hypothesized that DNA actually came from space--an increasingly popular theory known as "Panspermia."

Fascinatingly, Fritz Albert Popp's research in biophotons describes the dying process of cells as virtually identical to that of stars. Just before dying, cells transform into "supernovas" as the light they emit increases in intensity a thousand times before being suddenly extinguished. On a related note, and just as extraordinarily, Galactic Center, our point of origin, is located in the constellation Ophiuchus, "the serpent bearer," an obvious reference to the spiraling, serpentine helixes of DNA. Here, in ancient symbolism, we find a direct link between the creational torsion waves emitted by Galactic Center and the DNA molecule to which, by all indications, they give rise.

The Vedics were well aware of such an "ener-genetic" connection between Galactic Center and DNA as well as of the many cycles of time ending around 2012, employing the term somvarta to describe the intelligent waves of Core energy responsible for the spontaneous evolution of species. Another ancient concept, the Golden Mean, precisely defines the mathematical relationship between "above" and "below." The DNA molecule is minutely structured on phi or the Golden Mean, measuring 34 x 21 angstroms for each full helical spiral. Concordantly, the average mean orbit of each of the planets moving away from the sun is also a Fibonacci sequence that translates to almost exactly 1.6180339.

Active Prayer: phrase used by Gregg Braden in The Isaiah Effect to describe a "prayer technology" employed by the Essenes from the time of Christ. Active Prayer is designed to affect, and effect, quantum outcomes by changing the pray-er's picture of reality through focused intention that validates whatever one is praying for as having already happened. The five intercessory modalities used in Active Prayer--thought, feeling, emotion, peace, and love--correspond to the five nucleotides of DNA and RNA. The Nucleotides, in turn, align with the five vowels. Thus when we change reality through linguistically expressed intention, we do so via our bodies by activating our divine genetic endowment.

More than 99 percent of the population is still subject to an ancient curse that was deliberately cast to make slaves of the human race. For the first time, the deadly effects of this genetic tampering can be permanently reversed.

I first heard of the Anunnaki some twenty years ago when I read The Twelfth Planet by Zecharia Sitchin. His book, the product of extensive research into Sumerian tablets and other ancient writings, describes the Anunnaki as the inhabitants of Nibiru, a planet that circles the sun in a 3,600-year elliptical orbit opposite in direction to all the other planets in our solar system. It is not easily seen, the story goes, because its orbital plane deviates considerably from ours and only passes through our rotational plane once every thirty-six centuries.

The myth of creation related by Stichin says: "Soon after our solar system began to form, a planet thrust from another solar system passed near ours, was attracted inward, collided with a planet called Tiamat, broke her up to create Earth and the asteroid belt, and itself was captured into a great orbit around our sun to become the planet Nibiru. It was so 'Earthlike' that the Seed of Life, begun there, was transferred to Earth during the collision."

Eons passed as life evolved on both Earth and Nibiru. In time the Anunnaki faced the prospect of extinction as they discovered Nibiru was slowly losing its air supply; the only solution was through an elaborate process involving the dispersal of great quantities of gold into their failing atmosphere. When Nibiruian technology evolved sufficiently to allow space travel, the Anunnaki came to Earth, where they discovered vast stores of the gold they desperately needed.

After an extended period of successful mining operations on Earth, the mine workers brought from Nibiru rebelled, and the Anunnaki rulers on Earth decide to replace their own laborers with native Earth life. Their initial attempt was unsuccessful, so they resorted to genetic engineering to splice the native Homo erectus genes with the more complex Nibiruian genes. After several attempts, the Anunnaki succeeded in creating a hybrid species ideally suited to their needs--the one we now call Homo sapiens.

The myth goes on to relate the trials and tribulations that arose as a consequence of interbreeding and uncontrollable population growth. War broke out, and a decision was made to rid the planet of the new species through massive floods. From there, Sitchin's saga parallels many of the Bible stories that he claims are adaptations of earlier Sumerian writings.

It all makes for a compelling story--especially with Sitchin's extensive supporting documentation. I assumed, however, that if Nibiru and the Anunnaki were real, it was surely in some parallel universe and the "facts" were to be taken far more metaphorically than literally. That is, until six weeks ago when the impossible happened and the margins separating the two parallel universes started to fade.

In late March of 2006, shortly before delivering a talk at the Body, Mind, Spirit Expo in San Diego, I was introduced to Ranan Shahar, the founder of the New Dawn Clinic in Los Angeles. He had recently returned from a course in Switzerland concerning a process called Atlasprofilax that realigns the topmost spinal vertebra, called C1 or the atlas. This curious part of our anatomy, exhibiting little resemblance to all the other vertebrae, fittingly received its name from Atlas, the Titan in Greek mythology who supported the Earth on his shoulders.

According to Shahar and the Atlasprofilax literature, the C1 of virtually every single human is dislocated (luxated in chiropractic terms), causing an energy blockage in the spinal column along with a host of physical and mental disturbances. Astonishingly, I was told that the luxation is always in the same direction--statistically impossible if this displacement was simply the result of physical trauma.

Although it was just a half hour before I was scheduled to speak, I accepted Shahar's invitation to experience the process for myself. Sure enough, despite all my previous metaphysical practices, countless Rolfing sessions, deep tissue work, and chiropractic adjustments, I was among the 99.9 percent of humanity with a significantly luxated atlas. The treatment involved the massaging (including the use of a pulsating probe) of the soft tissue surrounding the C1 vertebra. Apparently only one fifteen-minute treatment is necessary, and if properly performed, it lasts a lifetime.

Despite being told about the nature of the process, I had completely underestimated its effect. Imagine standing in a dry river bed just below a dam as it is being demolished. That's about as close as I can come to describing what occurred. The "old me" was ripped away in a torrent of freely flowing energy, and I could all but see myself emerging from my personal chrysalis. Within minutes, the flood modulated into a steady flow, and I received a distinct message telling me that I had broken through a blockage deliberately engineered into the human genome.

While I enjoy a good story every now and again, this one begged for independent corroboration. A few days later I called my friend Wynn Free, author of The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce?, who teams with Terry Brown in channeling an evolved extraterrestrial intelligence called the Elohim. When he responded several days later with a message from the Elohim, my information was confirmed: the luxated C1 was deliberately engineered into the Homo sapiens coding by the Anunnaki in order to render their native pool of mining slaves more docile, programmable, and controllable. This mechanism has remained in the human genetic makeup ever since, and I suspect it is well known to those who understand how best to exploit such things.

The story is apparently acknowledged by the Atlasprofilax practitioners in the United States. (See http://www.atlasprofilax.net for a listing of them.) Synchronistically, Theodor Haene, one of a handful of individuals in the United States trained in the process, happened to come to our home a week and a half ago for a visit (forget calculating the odds of that happening; the universe has never been required to play by man's rules). At first Haene was reluctant to speak beyond the biomechanical aspects of the process. But when I shared my story with him, he turned in amazement and smiled.

Although realigning one's atlas seems a good and necessary process, it does not come without a price. Who knows what darkness is amassed behind our dam walls? Once the energy bursts free, both the physical and emotional bodies have considerable catching up to do. While my spiritual body soared, and my emotional body quickly adjusted to the new game at hand, my physical body is just beginning to find its footing within this higher vibratory state. Ten days after the treatment, I experienced a severe spasm under my left shoulder that lasted for seventy-two hours. Within weeks I needed the work of a healer to help clear considerable blockages in my digestive tracts, and even as I write these words, I am recovering from an onset of sinus and chest infections that is cleansing years of accumulated debris.

I am told that Atlasprofilax (currently offered in ten countries) is not the only process available for realigning the C1 vertebra. Apparently some network chiropractors, doctors employing the Blair Upper Cervical Technique, and possibly other therapists and shamans are skilled in the business of reversing the effects of this ancient curse. Both Haene and Shahar are open to sharing their work and are willing to train as many practitioners as possible.

I support the spread of any knowledge that frees the human race. This is the time of awakening, when each of us is being challenged to emerge from the false comfort of our hiding place in the still, dark waters behind our dam. Albert Einstein once said, "No problem can ever be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it." If we are to put an end to the insanity that has a death grip on our collective sensibilities, then we all need to move to a higher level of consciousness before it is too late.

Since the late sixties, there has been a wave of new vibrationally high children coming to the earth in response to prayers for earth angels to help bring the planet into a new paradigm. Although it has taken some time for adults, teachers and healers to come to an understanding of who these children are, why they came, and how to help them, progress has been made simply by acknowledging them.

We have had the blessing of healers, such as Doreen Virtue, who have educated the public about these beautiful souls, providing a welcome mat and invitation for them to flourish on earth as well as the support and tools needed for them to accomplish their mission. On her CD Indigo, Crystal and Rainbow Children, Virtue re-claims the label ADHD (Attention Deficit with Hyperactivity Disorder) as "Attention Dialed in to a Higher Dimension," which I think is fabulous! I recommend her CD because it is very enjoyable and humorous listening and will create a space for you to have that "aha" moment of seeing the people in your life, and perhaps yourself, within a conscious evolutionary framework.

I come to this theme and this article from both a personal and professional standpoint. I am what I call a "harmonized Indigo," where the Indigo intensity has been channeled and redistributed in constructive way. I am beginning to take on much Crystal energy, and believe that one may "transcend, mend and blend" as I phrase it. Recently, in a conversation with some Indigo, Crystal, and cusp sixth graders I work with, the question came up, "Teacher, which one is better, Indigo or Crystal?" To which I replied, "It's not about better, it's about holding different spaces at different moments based on what is needed on the planet. Both are important in their own way, and there are cusp children who are born with both Indigo and Crystal energies, as well as the opportunity for learning from and taking on the beauty of each."

I wish to be clear that my article, website and professional support for these adults and children is not about focusing on labels. There is no diagnosis for "Indigo" or "Crystal." These are simply nuanced ways of describing the sensitive, vibrationally high and beautiful children (many now adults) who are here on the planet and who, at a soul level, would like to heal as well as help the planet to heal. Their frustration often comes from no self-recognition, no recognition by others, and a stuck, sad, useless feeling, which can even turn into a self-destructive pattern.

There is a photo of myself at around nine years old, sitting in a treetop, staring with intense, sad eyes out at the world, feeling misunderstood. It captures the essence of an Indigo child. The good news is that I no longer feel that way! I was, thankfully, identified as "Gifted and Talented," which really meant, "These kids are so smart and so intense, and so bored in a regular classroom, that we just don't know what to do with them!" So programs were developed in states like Maryland to hire talented and creative teachers (from the Lightworker generation, also addressed in Virtue's CD) who were interested in working with such "gifted" kids in small group settings. It was a start, and I can assure you a saving grace for me. Even with that, on the best of days I fueled my inner Indigo through angry and sad poetry, and speeding around in sports cars with drunk drivers to head-bashing heavy metal tunes on the worst days.

It is almost impossible to put into words the inner intensity that an Indigo feels, but one way is that it feels like megawatts of burning energy vascillating between "Can someone share this joy with me?" and sheer indignation about all the injustice, lack of integrity, inauthenticity, and suffering in the world. Indigo intensity can turn inward as self-destruction if not channeled and given arenas for expression. Yes, we were hyper, because we were anxious to do something with this energy--and were so frustrated about our spirits being squashed or contained.

The irony of this article is that I am in a very healed space and am only bringing my past to the table for the purposes of helping Indigos who are not being seen or heard, or who have just been recognized and would like to know that a 37-year-old adult has been in that space and understands the walk.

The following three lists provide some "food for thought" for those desiring to heal their own, or someone else's, inner Indigo.

Pharmaceutical drugs such as antibiotics which further dampen their immune systems that are already weighted down by the societal stress they carry
Pharmaceutical drugs such as anti-depressants or psychotropics which are used to "control" behavior with ADD and ADHD
Household chemicals, toxic fumes, or cigarette smoke
Condescending tones of conversation which do not recognize who they are and allow for self-expression
Refined sugars
Alcohol or recreational drugs
Artificial dyes and coloring
Plastic, packaged foods
White flour
Pastries, donuts, candy, cookies
Low-protein diets
Poor-quality dairy products
Sleep deprivation
Extreme temperatures, especially cold, damp, drafty environments

Lack of contact with other Indigos or Crystals

Knowing they are understood and recognized (crucial)
Working with teachers, nutritionists, and doctors who are well-versed in this phenomenon

Natural healing plans for those who have been diagnosed with ADD or ADHD, which is actually a treatable autoimmune disorder
Tapping into Indigo or Crystal support groups
Journaling
Watching movies or reading books about the phenomenon
Alternative school environments according to the needs of the child
In some cases, gifted programs which can promote academic success and fulfillment
Attending an alternative-style college, or one that involves travel
Traveling and adventure with a caring adult

"Tough love" and "firm love" within a framework of, "I see you, I recognize you, I am committed to you"

Basic Nutritional & Healing Notes for Supporting Indigos

Think dark and rich: Indigos do well with dark, vibrantly colored foods, as these seems to match their vibration. Kale, dark leafy greens in general, wild blueberries, acai, cherries, dark organic chocolate without a lot of sugar, ripe red papaya, fresh-squeezed vegetable juice, and wheatgrass juice all tend to provide healing support for Indigos.

Sufficient protein, including choices from the animal and vegetable kingdom, are also important, as are healthy fats, which are very soothing for the nervous system.

Another good idea is to start with a 50/50 Raw-Cooked Diet to provide enzymes and easy-to-digest foods for the Indigo tendency towards having a delicate gastro-intestinal system.

Hair analysis by a qualified professional is very helpful in evaluating mineral status and deficiencies, heavy metal toxicities, and even emotional and spiritual patterns in order to create a successful healing program.

Stool analysis by a qualified professional is extremely helpful in assessing gut function, especially for ADD spectrum diagnoses. The healing process for ADD-type situations starts nutritionally in the gut, and improvements are tenfold when combined with the Regenetics Method (see below).

The Regenetics Method helped me tremendously, both as a client and a Facilitator, to transcend the parts of my Indigo that needed healing. This deep system of healing at the DNA level brings about profound changes in regards to self-empowerment, self-awareness, self-recognition, physical detoxification, and preparation for the lightbody, which is the new physiology for which these children began to arrive.

Finally, ongoing nutritional, emotional, and spiritual coaching from a health professional well-versed in this phenomenon can be essential. I provide three-month coaching programs for all of my clients, including Indigo adults and children who would like special focus on transcending and healing.

Postscript: The ADD-Autism Spectrum & the Indigo-Crystal Phenomenon

Broken down into basic spiritual terminology, the ADD-Autism spectrum is a vast arena where Indigos and Crystals exist. Depending on how these sensitive beings were received into the world, and how much information the parents had at the time, physical outcomes vary. This is in no way a judgement of parents. I am grateful to these parents for being the deliverers of these special beings, and I understand that they did the best they could with the information they had. My own Indigo path took me to a "bring-me-to-my-knees" near-fatal illness which opened up my Lightworker and Crystal energy to soften and heal the circuitry overload that occurred, otherwise known as "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome" (CFS).

There are major contributing factors that can determine the course of health for Indigo and Crystal children. With all love and respect for my parents, who thankfully brought me to this earth, factually speaking, I was born under anesthesia, vaccinated, raised on a standard diet including fast food and junk food, and given antibiotics--at which point I began depriving myself of sleep and rest in college, as well as consuming alcohol. On top of this, as part of the first wave of Indigos, I carried a lot of microbes and toxins "societally" for others, leaving me with quite a toxic load. Happily, CFS is now seen in the nutritional world as resulting from an immune-system breakdown, and when treated as such, it typically improves.

The place to start is a proper evaluation of minerals and gut function. The healing process is not as complicated as it seems. Through proper nutritional support, combined with evolutionary activation at the DNA level, Indigos and Crystals not only can heal, but can begin to strengthen and shine. At this point they often need less care and overprotection, become more prepared to feel the joy of being a high-vibrational being, and eventually even help hold space for planetary healing within a context of natural flow and rightness, without the need for deep suffering.
